Steven J. Reed, CFA, is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Stonehollow Capital Partners ("SCP"), specializing in direct equity investments in private companies across the United States. Before establishing SCP in January 2019, he served as a Managing Partner at EF Capital Management from 2014 to 2018, where he focused on direct debt and equity investments in both public and private companies. Prior to that, Mr. Reed was a Partner and Founding Member of BankCap Partners, a private equity firm specializing in the financial services industry.
He began his career as an investment banker at Bear, Stearns & Co. and later worked at Houlihan Lokey. Mr. Reed graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor's degree in Finance and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Prior to establishing SCP in January 2019, he served as Managing Partner at EF Capital Management from 2014 to 2018, focusing on direct debt and equity investments. Before EFC, Mr. Shepko was a Managing Director at Ares Management, LP, where he structured debt financings in the energy industry.
From 2009 to 2013, he co-headed CLG Energy Finance and served as Managing Director, providing financing to the energy and infrastructure sectors. Earlier in his career, Mr. Shepko was a Vice President at EnCap Investments, LP, managing private equity investments in the oil and gas sector. He graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor's degree in Finance.
